Baseball has been our nation's nation pastime since it was invented. That is why its history is so cherished.

This Oliver Optics Magazine, Jan. 23, 1869, depicts an early image of a baseball player and a rendering of two teams competing. There is paper loss on the front bottom right corner (and first page) and some flaking throughout.

We estimate the condition as FR because of the paper loss and some minor staining.
