With the popularity of Major League Baseball and the NFL’s Throwback jerseys, the NBA was looking to begin a vintage marketing campaign. With Champion being the supplier of the NBA, they created this 1984 style Chicago Bulls road shirt for a prototype for the league to follow. It is believed the NBA did not adopt this version when submitted. Our consignor obtained it from a team source and it has been a part of his collection for approximately 15 years.

Per the gold NBA logo on the shoulder, we date this shirt to the 1996-97 season. Champion size 44 tag on the bottom tail. Unused condition. Plus 4 extra length tagged inside.
