Offered is a Steve Garvey professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1972. Model number C263 is stamped on the barrel while Garvey's uniform number 6 is written on the knob in black marker. Steve has also signed the barrel along with a "Best Wishes!" inscription.
This ash bat currently weighs 34 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of light use with ball marks, stitch marks and cleat marks. Handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching known player records, 1 point for use and 1 point for player use traits number resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.
