Offered is a Milwaukee Brewers batting helmet dating to Hall of Fame third baseman Paul Molitor's tenure with the team worn during the 1982-1984 era.

The size 7 1/8 label applied inside helmet with Molitor's uniform number 4 applied to the reverse via decal numeral while Paul has also signed the brim of the helmet in silver marker with an "82 WS Gamer" inscription. Letter signed by Bernie Rupp on Milwaukee Brewers letterhead stating he was employed by the club & received the helmet directly from Molitor following game seven of the 1982 World Series will also attend.

Upon review, the placement of the Brewers logo on the helmet is consistent with 1982 regular reason games, but we could not confirm wear during the 1982 World Series. MEARS is 100% confident that this helmet was indeed worn by Molitor during the 1982-1984 era and that it was retrieved by employee Bernie Rupp. Heavy wear shown. (03E0267)
