The 1979 version of the Pittsburgh Pirates grabbed national sports headlines and was dubbed We Are Family.

Pops had the troops playing their best baseball in the World Series. This 1979 World Series baseball was used during the Fall Classic and signed by Bucs skipper Chuck Tanner who also offered a "79 World Series Game Used Ball" inscription.
