Bill Veeck waved his magic wand and created the most unique uniform design in baseball history when they brought out the disco era or softball style jersey in the mid to late '70s.

Who better to have a game worn jersey of than the man with baseball's coolest afro - Oscar Gamble. Gamble donned this jersey during the 1977 campaign, his only season in the Windy City. Moderate use is shown with some fraying on the single-color white tackle twill identifiers.

The collar houses a ruckled Rawlings size "38" manufacturer's tag and "Set 1 1977" flag tag. An open collar is found on front, the only time this has ever been incorporated on a baseball jersey. Gamble signed the reverse for good measure.

Unconventional, unique and one-of-a-kind, all three words describe Veeck and his unmistakable jerseys of the 1970s. This jersey has earned its perfect grade A10.
