Manufactured by the Tim McAuliffe company, this 6 panel cap’s design consist of a navy crown and bill, with embroidered orange “D” and an orange crown button. The bill contains the 7 stitch pattern, consistent with McAuliffe products for the era.
The interior reveals a leather band with the “Made Exclusively for Tim McAuliffe, Inc., Quality Athletic Equipment, Boston MASS., by Leslie”. Size 7 1/8 is factor stamped onto the band, and “KALINE” (band) and “6” (under brim) appears in vintage period ink.
The cap reveals heavy game wear, with heavy cracking to the leather hand band. The cap remains in overall excellent condition. Collection of MEARS Staff. (P0266)
