Alan Ameche may be Wisconsin's top football talent. Alan played six seasons with the Baltimore Colts in the NFL after winning the Heisman Trophy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He was elected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons in the league. He is famous for scoring the winning touchdown in the 1958 NFL Championship Game against the New York Giants, labeled "The Greatest Game Ever Played."Offered in the original box is a Wilson Official Alan Ameche All-American football. The ball appears to hold air. The ball is in excellent condition and the first autograh model we have ever seen of this Colts star.

The box shows some wear but is still in a presentable state.
