Ray Nitschke took great pride in his induction in the Hall of Fame. This letter asked Nitschke the question - What did your induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame mean to You? His response, in his own hand, is the following:

"It was a real dream come true. To be enshrined with the greats of pro football was the greatest honor a player could receive."

An image of the Hall of Fame is featured on the top. There are the regular compacting folds, none of which touches the signature.
