Offered for sale is an original 1883 United States Army Cavalry overcoat. The overcoat top part remains in great sound shape with the yellow for cavalry bright and crisp. The overcoat has some damage to it around the front and back of the neck there is some mothing. There is a button on the front that the front part of the button has broken off the shank. This could easily be fixed if the buyer chose to do so. There is also some damage to the rear of the left sleeve. These never have been common so now is the time to get yours for your collection while you have the chance.
