1913-14 Rare Baseball Books The Homecoming/Chicago White Sox/New York Giants World Tour

Offered is a collection of rare baseball books from the early 1900's. The first book is a souvenir program from the 1913-14 baseball World Tour. The program was released to celebrate the Chicago White Sox/New York Giants World Tour. The book was published in 1914 by S. Black Willsden & Co. The book is packed with photos as well as a diary of the trip. The images include Charles Comiskey, John McGraw, Jim Thorpe, Sam Crawford, Tris Speaker, Red Faber, Sam Crawford and more. The book is in Poor condition with the cover off and the back cover missing along with a page missing in the back cover.

The second book is called the Home Coming by Daniel Bolland. The Home Coming features John J. McGraw, Charles Comiskey and James J. Callahan. The Home Coming is in conjunction with the World Tour. The book is in Poor-Fair condition with the front and back cover missing. (54H0275)
