Offered for auction in this lot is a Franklin Stubbs professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat that Stubbs appears to have brandished with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers. Model number S318 is stamped on the barrel along with Franklin Stubbs in block letters while the knob features uniform number 22 in blue sharpie; which Stubbs wore with the Dodgers in 1989, and 0 in black sharpie, which Stubbs wore with Milwaukee in 1991 & 1992.

This gwynn finished ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces and measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records. Heavy signs of use are present in the form of numerous ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, dead wood and a light application of pine tar. The handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use, 2 points player traits/documented uniform number and loses 1/2 point for dead wood resulting in a final grade of MEARS A9.5.
