Featured in this lot is a Bob melvin professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat sourced directly from County Stadium during his 1990 campaign behind the dish with the Baltimore Orioles. Model number P89 is stamped on the signature model barrel. Melvin's uniform number 2 is written on the knob in black sharpie.
This ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and cupped barrel. Bat exhibits signs of heavy use in the form of a 8" handle crack which only remains attached due to athletic tape. (Q0029)
