NFL observers always wondered if Vince Lombardi had lived a few years longer, would the Redskins have won a few more Super Bowls?
This size "48" durene jersey was worn by #36 during the preseason portion of the season. Nobody rostered on the team during the regular season wore #36. Linking this to '69 is an NFL 50 patch on the left shoulder. The patch shows wear. The burgundy V-neck collar, shoulder striping and numbers have faded somewhat, most likely from washings.
It appears that the Redskins wore jerseys with a similar striping scheme in preseason.
A Sand Knit size tag is sewn in the tail. Decent use is shown on the pullover garment.
