Chuck Muncie had a sense of style like few others during his days in New Orleans. It was the bulldozer running back who was one of the first gridders to don goggles.
Circa 1976-77 is this tearaway Saints Muncie game worn jersey. Constructed out of a lightweight material, this jersey shows appropriate running back wear. Numerous runs appear on the jersey, especially near the numbers on both sides. All of the identifiers are screen printed as is "MUNCIE" on the reverse. A Russell Athletic size "50" tag appears in the tail.
While not the grandest of teams, the Saints sported some of the more interesting jerseys of their, or any, time period.
