Here we have the team photo for the 1977-78 defending Eastern Conference champion Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers would lose to the Washington Bullets in that year's Eastern Conference finals despite having Hall of Famer Julius "Dr. J" Erving, renowned backboard breaker Darryl Dawkins, the unforgettable World B. Free, as well as Joe Bryant & Henry Bibby whose sons Kobe and Mike would go on to play in the NBA, and future Detroit Pistons coach Chuck Daly roaming the sidelines as an assistant coach.
