Additional backstory on the football provided by the consignor is as follows, "The Aaron Ross game ball or as i call it the 1/2 game ball. Ross was not to play for the Jets that day in 2007 because he missed some practices and was an all around jerk that very few teammates liked. After the 1st half the Giants were losing so they put Ross in if he was a good boy, and he was, he intercepted a ball to save a touchdown by the Jets and then intercepted a 2nd ball and scored the winning touchdown. That is why they awarded him the game ball, but not too many players liked him even after that, so not many signed the 1/2 game ball as i call it because he only played 1/2 the game."
