2006 Nike Catchers Shin Guards Attributed to Jorge Posada

Custom Nike game used shin guards from 2006 attributed to Jorge Posada. The shin guards has the number 20 custom printed on the ankle protector or each leg facing outwards. There are custom dri-fit pads on the insides to protect the knees and shins while kneeling. The shin guards show moderate use with scrapes on the plastic, some dirt soiling on the fabric and leather, as well as the custom tape job Posada puts over the straps so that he doesnt have to adjust them after taking them off and putting them back on. Getty Images #72104158, #71618817, and #91282982 shows this style of catchers equipment worn by Posada in 2006 and inside the right shin guard there is a manufacturers date of 2006-3-6.
