Offered for auction in this lot is a Jason Jennings professional model Louisville Slugger from his 2002 Rookie of the Year campaign with the Colorado Rockies. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured Louisville Slugger features the model number S239 stamped on the barrel along with Jason Jennings in block letters. The barrel also has Arizona Diamondbacks stamped on it, which was the original club to draft Jennings.
This ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces and measures 34" in length. It is flame treated with a round barrel & regular knob and matches known player factory records. It exhibits moderate use with a handle crack with some separation at 6". There is also a medium amount of pine tar, tape applied to the handle and Jennings #32 written on the knob.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for use, 1 point for a documented uniform number and loses 1 point for the handle crack resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
