Why does it seem like the best hockey emblems and colors are used in the minors?

This awe-inspiring size "54" jersey was worn by Blake Evans during his time with the Worcester Icecats in 2002-03.

Moderate use is exhibited with puckering on three-color tackle twill identifiers. "EVANS" is placed to a tightly cropped nameplate on back. Sewn in the collar is an SP tag and size "54" flag designator. Authentication comes via a team letter.

The following patches appear on the outer tail: "SP," American Hockey League and St. Louis Blues (parent club). The original fight strap is firmly in-place.
