2001 (post 911) Derek Jeter New York Yankees Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS A10)

Offered is a New York Yankees home jersey which was donned by recently retired shortstop Derek Jeter during his 2001 campaign with the storied franchise. Russell MLB Authentic Collection tag sewn to tail along with size 48 and 2" Extra Length flag tags while the Yankees iconic interlocking NY logo and Jeter's soon to be retired uniform number two sewn to the navy pinstriped white knit jersey in navy tackle twill. Black armband sewn to left sleeve along with a Stars & Stripes flag patch on the reverse neck in memoriam of the 9/11 tragedy while an American League 100 Seasons patch is sewn to the right sleeve. Signed letter on Juan C Iglesias letterhead detailing the provenance of the jersey will also attend. Light to moderate use shown. (71Y0203)
