Jeromy Burnitz was one of the only reasons to brave the elements and watch the Milwaukee Brewers in the late 1990s. Perennial losers, the Brew Crew was mired in mediocrity while they patiently waited for Miller Park to open.
Offered is a Minzuno glove used by the homer happy outfielder during his time in Milwaukee. "Jeromy Burnitz" is embroidered on the thumb in black thread. The Mizuno manufacturer's logo has been removed near the name. This is likely due to Burnitz primarily using Rawlings gloves in games from images available during the period. The glove shows light wear overall and has been lightly broken in. This likely pinpoints it as a glove used during spring training, practice, or as a backup if needed. There are dirt marks on the back as well as around the tips of the fingers and webbing.
Also included is a photo of Burnitz signed to Shaq in black felt tip. Who knew Shaq was a charter member of the "Jeromy Burnitz Fan Club?"
