Offered is a road jersey which was donned by Hall of Fame right fielder Tony Gwynn during his 1998 campaign with the National League Champion San Diego Padres. Russell Athletic size 50 tag sewn to tail with accompanying notation reading "Mont. 8-1-98 #2897 8-1-98" written in black marker above and on the tag. Team name and number sewn to jersey in navy on white on orange triple tackle twill while player name is sewn to the reverse in navy single tackle twill. Circular team logo patch present on left sleeve. Gwynn has also signed the reverse numeral 1 in silver marker. Heavy use shown with some staining present. (54H0202)
