1998 Russ Johnson Houston Astros Signed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a professional model S44 Russ Johnson game used Louisville Slugger dating to circa his 1998 season in the Houston Astros organization. Johnson has signed the barrel in black marker with his MLB uniform number 9 while number 65 is written both on the knob and in the barrel's cupped end indicating likely extended organizational use. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 31 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, pine tar and grain swelling. (91S0072, 1216)
