1997 Powell #64 Washington Redskins Game Issued Jersey (MEARS Auction LOA)

Each summer NFL hopefuls fill camps in hopes of making the final roster. This jersey was issued to a player named Powell but he did not make the squad.

Carl Powell did play for the Redskins in 2002, but he did not wear this number. Who knows maybe he slipped it on before changing digits.

The jersey borders on game-issued with only substance on the left dazzle cloth shoulder. All of the numbers and NOB are heat pressed. Wilson logos decorate the sides. Sewn in the tail are the following: "97" year swatch, Wilson Prestige Teams tag and size label.
