This is a 1995 Esteban Loaiza / Gary Wilson / Jermaine Allenworth Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat. This bat dates to the 1995-97 period based on the Louisville Slugger centerbrand period, 1991-97, and the years Loaiza pitched for the Pirates during that period, 1995-97. The jersey number present on this bat is #46, which was worn by Gary Wilson in 1995 and Jermaine Allenworth in 1996 and 1997. This T141 model bat weighs 30.8 ounces and measures 34 inches in length.
This bat exhibits heavy use with ball marks present primarily on front and top of the barrel. Grain separation is evident along the top of the barrel. A light coating of pine tar appears along the handle. A very small 1" handle crack is present along the handle of the bat. The original jersey number, 46, is present on the knob and barrel end of this bat, but is not the original number as the original number was blacked out on each end.
This bat grades out at the MEARS A6 grade with five points for the base grade, three points for heavy use, and a two point deduction for being a two-player bat and having the knob blacked out. PSA/DNA paperwork also accompanies this bat, which grades this bat as a PSA/DNA GU 6.
