It was a special day at Camden Yards Sept. 6, 1995 when Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig's consecutive games record. Many people believe that day helped heal baseball's wounds.

This Louisville Slugger commemorative bat is signed by Ripken on the barrell in silver paint pen. "September 6, 1995 Camden Yards 1822 of 2131" is engraved near the trademark.
