Ken Griffey Jr. was must-see each time he sauntered to the plate. At the time the season was canceled in 1994, Griffey Jr. was making a run at Roger Maris' then record of 61 home runs.
We can only wonder if Griffey would have reached Maris. From that unforgettable season is this size "46" jersey worn by The Kid. Light use is shown on the button up knit garment. "GRIFFEY" is expressed to a nameplate while the numbers are created in two-color tackle twill. The right sleeve contains a 125th anniversary patch while the opposite side sports a Mariners team disc patch. The following tags appear in the tail: Russell Athletic size, fabric content and "2" Extra Length".
A fading Griffey signature appears on back.
