Gone but never forgotten is Walter Payton. It was Payton who led the Bears through the slim decade of the 1970s and early '80s. While not always blessed with much talent around him, Payton was the focal point of the opposition. Although he endured a tremendous amount of punishment, Payton only missed one game during his 13-year career. Payton died at the tender age of 45, which leaves his autograph at a heavy shortage among the masses of fans he accumulated. From a Bears reunion signing in the 1990s is this Payton signature.
Walter Payton rightfully joined football's most elite class when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. This 16" x 24" poster is signed by Sweetness in perfect white paint pen and includes a "34" inscription.
