1993 Billy Spiers Milwaukee Brewers Game Worn Helmet - MEARS

Billy Spiers was a fielding wizard who lasted 13 seasons in the big leagues. This size "7 1/4" helmet was worn by the shortstop in 1993.

According to the ABC date wheel, the offered helmet was manufactured in Dec. of 1992 and ready for use the following campaign. In 1994, teams used helmets with a gold MLB logo on the reverse because of the 125th anniversary.

This headgear was used until the point it was cracked (11 1/2"). There is chip missing near the MLB decal. Pine tar is built up around the front from extensive use.

The inside features three stickers: warning, size "7 1/4" (with "9" written in black marker) and Authentic Diamond Collection.

The reverse has an MLB decal, "ABC" sticker and "9" decal.
