This is a 1993-96 Carlos Garcia Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat. This bat dates to the 1993-96 period based on the period in which Garcia wore jersey number #13 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, 1993-96. The knob and barrel end have been blacked out and the number #13 placed on top, which could have occurred after Garcia changed from jersey number 51 to jersey number 13 following the 1992 season with the Pirates.
The bat exhibits heavy use with deeply embedded stitch marks on all sides of the barrel with minor grain separation present on back of the barrel.
This bat comes with paperwork from MEARS, which grades it out at the A8 grade with five points for the base grade, three points for heavy use, and no point deductions. This bat also comes with paperwork from PSA/DNA, which grades it as a GU7.5.
