After three World Series appearances, things finally caught up to the Oakland A's in 1991. While the team wasn't able to replicate their torrid three year run in '91, it still provided countless memories for Bay Area baseball enthusiasts.
We have deduced the vintage of this OAL (Brown) sphere to 1991 because of the inclusion of tragic pitcher Eric Show who died after a drug overdose in 1994. Show was only rostered with the A's for that lone season. This orb is signed by 26 team members in ballpoint ink.
