James "Buster" Douglas was the first man to plant Mike Tyson on his backside. The youngest heavyweight champion's life was forever changed by the events which took place Feb. 11, 1990. Yes, Douglas downed the seemingly unbeatable Tyson.

Douglas signed this 12 oz. Everlast boxing glove (right) in black felt tip. The penning is signed "James Buster Douglas" and pays homage to the one blemish on Tyson's boxing record he was never able to overcome. From Collection of MEARS Staff.
