Offered is an Oakland Athletics batting helmet dating to circa Walt Weiss's 1988 American League Rookie of the Year season with the team. American Baseball Cap size 7 1/4 label applied inside helmet while Walt's uniform number 7 is applied to the reverse in decal form. Weiss has also signed the reverse of the helmet in gold marker with a "ROY 88" inscription. Heavy wear shown. (86N0565, 82)
