Lot #910:

1988 Dwight Gooden Signed Game Worn Regent Sports Glove (MEARS Auction LOA)

Offered is a game worn pitchers glove of Dwight Gooden from 1988. The glove, made by Regent Sports, has "Doc Gooden" embroidered on the thumb in red threading. Gooden signed the glove in silver marker on the back by the index finger and added the inscription G/88. The glove has been sourced from a Florida area photographer and could have likely been worn in spring training games or pratices since no regular season game footage could be found of Gooden wearing this brand of glove. Overall the glove shows moderate to heavy use with soling present throughout as well as wear to the inside palm and fingers. Accompanying the glove will be a MEARS Auction LOA.
