1988 Alan Trammell Detroit Tigers Game Worn Batting Practice Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Detroit Tigers batting practice jersey which was donned by shortstop Alan Trammell during his 1988 campaign with the club. Trammell would turn in another excellent performance for the Tigers in 1988 registering a .311 batting average, .374 on base percentage and .464 slugging percentage which earned him a midseason All Star nod, a Silver Slugger award and a 7th place finish in American League MVP voting at the season's end. Rawlings size 42 manufacturer's tag sewn to inside tail with a "Set 1 1988" flag tag while the team name and number are sewn to the jersey in navy on orange tackle twill. Moderate use shown.
