1988-89 Reggie Theus New Jersey Nets Tribute Uniform (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New Jersey Nets jersey which appears to have been prepared in tribute to Reggie Theus. MacGregor Sand Knit size 42, exclusive, 2" LB and 88 tags sewn to tail while "Nets", number 24 and "Theus" are also sewn to the jersey. Matching uniform shorts with MacGregor Sand Knit size 38, exclusive, 1 1/2" HR, and 88 tags sewn in the waistband along with a handwritten 24 on an adjacent tag will also accompany. While uniform is of professional quality MEARS cannot conclusively attribute issuance or wear to Theus as jersey is tagged for 1988-89, the last season the Nets wore this style was 1989-90, and Reggie's first season was not until 1990-91 which was the first season of a new style.
