While their on-field product was unpredictable at times, the Milwaukee Brewers of the mid '80s had a stellar feeder system.
In 1987 the Denver Zephyrs paced the American Association with a 79-61 record. For their yeoman's work, they were bestowed with championship rings. This ring was presented to "Corns", not a rostered player. We surmise he was a coach or high ranking official.
"AMERICAN ASSOCIATION LEAGUE CHAMPIONS" is embossed around the perimeter and a green stone is centered on front with "ZEPHYRS" created in gold.
One shank reads" CORNS DENVER ZEPHYRS AGM" while the opposite side shows "1987 WINS 79 LOSES 61" with a Brewers team emblem.
"2SA-19169" is engraved on the inside.
