1987-94 Barry Larkin Professional Model Wilson Batting Gloves and MMS 87 Wristband

1987-94 Barry Larkin Professional Model Wilson Batting Gloves.  This pair of red and white Wilson batting gloves are dated from 1987-94 when he played for the Reds.  The gloves show moderate to heavy use with pine tar and dirt on the palms and fingers as well as fraying on the back of the hand.  Glove style photo matched -- Getty Images #52989151, #52989145, and #5214891. Also with the gloves is a red wristband manufactured by MMS 87.  The wristband is red and features a head shot of Barry Larkin, an embroidered signature, and the phrase "Just Say No To Drugs" on it.  The wristband is dated to when he played for the Reds based on the color and picture of Larkin on it.  The wristband shows moderate use with some loosening and fraying of the fabric as well as some darker spots from dirt and sweat.   The gloves and wristband came from the collection of Ken Ballard, a former visiting team clubhouse manager.
