1986-91 Bobby Bonilla Professional Model Franklin Batting Gloves and MMS 87 Wristbands

1986-91 Bobby Bonilla Professional Model Franklin Batting Gloves.  This pair of black and white Franklin batting gloves are dated from 1986-91 when he played for the Pirates.  The gloves show moderate to heavy use with pine tar, dirt, and stretching of the leather on the palms and fingers.  Glove style photo matched -- Getty Images #1405084 and #290393. Also with the gloves are a pair of yellow wristbands manufactured by MMS 87.  These wristbands are yellow and features a head shot of Bobby Bonilla, an embroidered signature, and the phrase "Just Say No To Drugs" on them.  These wristbands are dated to when he played for the Pirates based on the color and picture of Bonilla on them.  The wristbands show moderate use with some loosening and fraying of the fabric as well as some darker spots from dirt and sweat.   The gloves and wristbands came from the collection of Ken Ballard, a former visiting team clubhouse manager.
