Boxing can only wish it could go back to the days when Mike Tyson dominated sports headlines. While some of the news was negative, Tyson had boxing atop the sporting landscape in the 1980s and '90s as he was a must-see pay-per-view each time he laced up the gloves. Currently, the sport is in a state of purgatory as crooked judges, a dearth of heavyweight talent and squabbling over a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight are the only things bringing notoriety these days. Originating from a former Tyson entourage member is this piece of boxing history.

These classic black trunks were produced for Tyson by Everlast, the company which created his ring attire for years. While these were never worn in boxing match, the "back up" trunks were used in a gym workout according to the provided LOA signed by a former Tyson staffer.

"TYSON" is embroidered on one leg end (3") while the opposite end is balanced off with an American flag identifier. The white stars and stripes have taken on a pinkish hue from sweat or launderings endured. Consigned by MEARS Staff.
