Love him or hate him, Billy Martin loved baseball to the highest degree. While not blessed with the most talent, Martin survived on guts. He was one of baseball's best skippers as well.

This OAL (Brown) baseball was signed by Martin in 1985 across the sweet spot. There are a few tone spots on the orb including a substance on the north panel. "1985" is written on a side panel, most likely denoting the year it was signed.
