1985-87 St. Louis Cardinals #1 Minor League Game Worn Jersey & 1987 Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith Game Worn Pants (MEARS Auction LOA)

This #1 size "40" jersey was worn by a minor leaguer for the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals wore jerseys and BP jerseys with sewn-on identifiers while everything screened on. Navy blue/white/red piping surrounds the V-neck and both sleeve ends. Sewn in the inner tail is a Rawlings "The Mark of a Pro" manufacture's tag - circa 1985-87. "WIZARD" is written in black marker on the inner tail as well. This was not used by Ozzie Smith though.

Also included are the pants donned by Smith. The waist line includes the following tags: Rawlings size "32", "Inseam 25" (swatch), "87 1" (year/player number) and has "OZ" written and crossed out. Navy/white/red stripes run down the sides. Great use is shown.
