1984 Wade Boggs Boston Red Sox Autographed Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A7.5)

Offered for auction in this lot is an autographed Wade Boggs professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his 1984 campaign with the Boston Red Sox. Model C235 is stamped on the signature model barrel while Wade's uniform number 26 is written on the knob in black marker. Boggs has also signed the bat in blue marker.

This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a cupped barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of medium use with ball marks, stitch marks and a light application of pine tar. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 1.5 points for use and 1 point for a documented uniform number resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.5.
