While Charles Martin didn't wear this right shoe during his infamous attack on Jim McMahon, he did wear it for quite a while given the use. For the record, Martin's hit on Jimmy Mac was on a turf field and this shoe shoe has cleats installed.

Packers staffer Scott Waters grabbed this Puma shoe from the garbage after Martin basically broke it in half during game competition. The middle is broken but still complete. A team repair is instituted on the right side. Some of the paint has flaked on the bottom and moderate flaking is present on the inside. "94" is written on the inside and inner tongue as well.

Martin endorsed a fabulous signature on the front bottom in black felt tip.

Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection. Detailed LOA’s personally signed by Scott Waters will be included with each item from his collection. Letters of authenticity: Scott Waters & MEARS / Troy Kinunen
