Offered is an 11" x 18" Hanshin Tigers team flag which has been signed in black marker by Randy Bass, who won two consecutive Japanese Central League Triple Crowns while playing for the team in 1985 & 1986 and was also named the MVP of the 1985 Japan Series after leading Hanshin to their first Series Title in franchise history. Bass was also in the middle of controversy during his 1985 season as his 54 home runs were one short of the Japanese single season home run record held at the time by the legendary Sadaharu Oh. Bass & Hanshin faced the Yomiuri Giants, managed by Oh himself, on the final weekend of the season though Bass was never given a pitch to hit and remained one short of the then record. (77E0009)
