Death, taxes and Mike Munchak garnering All-Pro status were almost certain for Houston Oilers fans.

The longest tenured man in Oilers/Titans history is Munchak, who after finishing out his playing days became coach and now head man for the organization.

This size "50" jersey was worn by the dependable guard during the early stages of his Canton-bound career. Sewn in the collar of the mesh masterpiece is a Russell Athletic tag which dates to the 1982 according to the MEARS database. Since teams did carry over jerseys from year to year, it is conceivable that Munchak wore this in year two.

Heavy use is shown on the pullover mesh jersey with at least 14 team repairs throughout, most notably a sizable area of patch work on the right sleeve. The heat pressed team identifiers were not spared either as there are heavy contact marks on the numbers and some surface degradation present.

Spandex inserts comfortably rest on the sides and under the arms for a tighter feel. "MUNCHAK" is screened to an elongated nameplate on back.

If there ever was a Hall of Fame worthy jersey of Munchak, look no further.
