Dick Perez forever changed sports art when he began creating renderings of baseball stars from a bygone era in the 1980s. His work was first featured on Donruss baseball cards but eventually branched off into other productions.

Presented for bidder consideration are 12 Perez Steele postcards, issued from 1981-85 and sequentially numbered to 10,000. The cards are signed on front by the subject in felt tip ink. Those who signed include: Al Kaline, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, Ralph Kiner, Luis Aparicio, Enos Slaughter, Monte Irvin, Lou Boudreau, Lou Brock, George Kell, Brooks Robinson and Edward Stack.
