For what Billy Martin lacked in skill, he made up for in determination. The former Yankee helped restore lost luster to the organization in the 1970s and early '80s.

This OAL (MacPhail) baseball is signed on a side panel in blue ballpoint by the popular skipper. The ball has toned deliciously and the penning is splendid. The sphere's stampings are nearly undecipherable.
