Paul "Bear" Bryant is the University of Alabama football. The towering figure, and his fedora cap, are royalty among college football coaches.

Signatures of Bear Bryant are not common. Following his retirement from the sidelines, Bryant lived only four more weeks before dying from a massive heart attack. He never went on that retirement tour.

This The Sporting News page is signed by the iconic figure twice in black felt tip.
